Activities

Blue Solutions is the umbrella company for the Bolloré Group’s electricity storage activities.
Benefiting from its position of world leader in films for capacitors and after 20 years of R&D,
the Group Bolloré has developed batteries and electrical storage solutions based on its
unique LMP® (Lithium Metal Polymer) technology.
These batteries are used for mobility (electric vehicles, car-sharing services, public
transportation) and stationary applications (renewables integration, rural electrification,
service system).
Blue Solutions currently has a staff of more than 450 scientists, engineers and technicians
who manufacture these high technology batteries in two sites, in France (Brittany) and
Canada, with a production capacity of 1.5 GWh. Blue Solutions has the qualities to position
itself as a major actor of the energy transition.

Electromobilty:
Car-sharing services: Autolib’ - Paris (4 000 electric vehicles), Bluely - Lyon (305 electric
vehicles), Bluecub - Bordeaux (201 electric vehicles)
Public transportation: more than 200 electric buses currently operating in France and abroad
Stationary:
Odet (2 MWh - Service System) / Vaucresson (400 kWh - Load Shifting) / Tulle (200 kWh -
Renewable integration) / Le Puy-en-Velay (90 kWh - E.V charge station)

INTERNATIONAL
Electromobilty:
Car-sharing services: BlueIndy - Indianapolis (282 electric vehicles), Bluetorino - Turin (95
electric vehicles) and Los Angeles, Singapore, London.
Stationary: More than 25 off-grid installations in operation in West Africa:
• Bluezone : 11 off-grid production units, each powered by 140 kWp of PV coupled with
360 kWh of storage
• Canal Olympia : 14 off-grid production units, built in partnership with Vivendi Group.
Note that this partnership aims to develop 50 units in total.
