Activities

Mézagri is a production and engineering company which develop and sell micro-organisms selections, composed by bacteria and fungi, stem from plant compost, for agricultural and horticulture market, which have the following properties:

  • Improving the soil quality especially its physical properties (texture, structure, increase in soil water holding capacity), chemical properties (humus formation, clay-humic complex improvement, increase in soil CEC) and biological properties (increase in micro-organisms biodiversity),
  • Water quality preservation by reducing the nitrogen and phosphorus leaching, that causes the surface and groundwater eutrophication,
  • Reduction of soil salinity,
  • Atmospheric nitrogen and CO2 fixation by symbiotic bacteria, and autotrophic microorganisms respectively, increasing the soil nitrogen and carbon stock,
  • Improving plant nutrition (water and nutrients), through mycorrhizae and bacteria symbiosis with roots, allowing to reduce water and fertilizer application
  • Reduction of chemical treatment application, due to stronger plants that are more resistant to plant diseases,
  • Composting and valorization of organic matter and effluents into humus for: slurry, manure, waste water treatment sludge, fish farms sludge, methanization digestate,
  • Improving the air quality by limiting the nitrogen and CO2 volatilization during organic matter storage, allowing to reduce the bad smells.

Among the products created by the Marcel Mezy technologies®, the Bactériosol® and Bactériolit®, which are organic soil amendment certified conform to the NFU 44-051 and the US National Organic Program, are sold by the SOBAC and MEZAMONDE Company.
